Through music, poetry, and song, a group of artists explores the Muslim-America experience.The show at Washington’s Kennedy Center is called Now You See Us.It aims to shatter negative views of Muslim Americans in a post-9/11 World by exploring life in America for the Muslim Diaspora.

An opportunity like this is a reminder for most of them to look at America in 2018; am the United States as much as anybody else’s.I think it’s high time that not only do we accept that, I think we also embrace it so it’s no longer, it shouldn’t, it should no longer be about tolerance.Well I mean given the current, you know, geopolitical climate,it’s super important for people to represent their people and where they’re from accurately.
