Aquariums can make us feel like we’re under the sea, but super storms can actually put aquariums underwater.That’s what happened when Hurricane Sandy devastated the New York Aquarium in 2012.

Not far away we are continuous to restore the rest of the exhibit space destroyed by Hurricane sandy.It’s expected to open in the next year and a half until then there are sharks.
